Happy Fathers Day!
Ok, I know it was last week, but here it is.
On Fathers Day Kevin got breakfast (fresh blueberry pancakes, bacon, hashbrowns, strawberries, oj and milk) in bed with the Sunday paper. The day before we decided that we were going to go on a picnic with the other Turners, Dick and Joyce and Brian, Eryn and Liam. So after breakfast, we packed up the car, stopped for some fried chicken and potato wedges, and headed for Veterans Park. It was a beautiful day and it was fun watching the boys enjoy themselves. It was so nice we went from there to the community pool in Tuscany near Dick and Joyce’s house. It was so fun taking the little boys into the water! We have little inflatable chairs that will also keep them shaded, so they are completely pampered! What a life! All in all I think a good day was had by all and many fun memories were made and traditions started!
Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers in my life! (and Happy Birthday Joyce!) We love you all.

Swimming fun!
We have taken Braden swimming a few times now in an actual swimming pool and he LOVES it! We knew he likes his bath, but he loves water in general. He splashes and kicks at times but then also just floats calmly. When I put him under the water he just comes back up blinking his eyes and looking a little startled. No coughing or crying! What a good boy and already a little fish.
Timmons Farewell
Saturday was sad day for Morgan and myself (Roxy also, who will miss her boyfriend Sammy). Some of our best friends here in Boise, Luke and Stephanie Timmons, are moving to California. Saturday was their going away party.
They have been an inspiration to Morgan and myself in how to live a Christian marriage with devotion to one another. There is such a compassion in their lives for friends and family. I obviously spoke about personal issues more with Luke but I’m sure Steph is the same way: never judging, just listening and giving sound, biblical advice and counsel (with the random rant about cars, tires and Jordan in between). I’ll miss our Wednesday mornings at the “bagel place”.
I still look forward to dominating Luke in Fantasy Sports for many years to come. Hopefully his new job keeps him busy so he won’t have the time to do “research” and be the first on the waiver wire.
Timmonsiiii - We look forward to visiting you guys in LA and can’t wait to hit the slots and black-jack in Reno! Our prayers will always be with you and your new/old lives in California. We selfishly hope you move back soon.

Turner baby shower
Last week my Joyce, my mother-in-law, threw Eryn, my sis-in-law, a baby shower for our baby boys. They are due 2 days apart and going to be bestest friends! It was great getting to see the family again and both new moms ended up sitting next to the Great Grandmas. I thought that was pretty cool.
Eryn strategically placed presents in front of her belly in all the pictures! Sneaky little lady!!
Life is good!
Ok, time for an update! Kevin and I had our most recent doctors visit today and everything looks good! The babies heartbeat was 156 bpm, and I am measuring 1 week ahead of my due date (totally normal). They also set up all my appointments for here through the rest of my pregnancy. The last one we have is January 31st. Both Kevin and I are hoping we don’t have to go to that one! Hoping that the baby will be here by then!
We have decided on a name! So without any extenuating circumstances our son’s name will be Braden. We liked both of the names we had you vote on, but this was the one that we both LOVED! But thanks for all your votes! Maybe baby #2 will be Gabe?
Last month my cousin Meghan moved in with Kevin and me. She is from Kent, just south of Seattle, and was looking for a change of pace and scenery. She started last week at Babies R’ Us. How convenient, huh!? So far everything is going well. She is still looking for a full time job in the animal care field, so if anyone knows anything please let us know!
Last Sunday Kevin and I went to the BSU Nevada football game. And what a game it was! We started by tailgating with our friends Brett and Shannon Butler, Matt Fearey, Joe Raybell, Tim Dykstra and Josh Anderson. It was a great way to get a fun night started. The game was really close and the final score was 69-67 and went into 4 overtimes! I thought my heart was going to stop a few times, or else go into labor!
Next week we leave for Cancun Mexico with Luke and Stephanie Timmons, and Mark and Anne Gould. We are so excited! I’m sure we will have lots of pictures to post when we get home. It will be good to get out of Boise before little Braden comes!
