Braden and Kevin went down the hill on a sled and Kevin accidentally kicked snow in Braden's face the whole way! He was using his feet as a brake and it caused the snow to fly right into Braden's face! Oops! The Turner Family
The Dads We decided to have a girls only picture and Braden was crying, so I set him off the the side. Kevin thought it was hillarious! He wouldn't move in the snow, so he sat there and cried till after the picture was taken.

 

Daddy also took Braden on his first SLED RIDE!  All that ended up happening was Braden getting a lot of snow kicked in his face as dad tried to make sure he went slow enough for baby.  Poor Baby! :-)

The second picture is of yet another boo-boo Braden has gotten. Daddy tried to wipe his nose and accidentally scratched his eyelid when Braden fling his face away from the tissue. Silly Baby!

Soon, we will be able to take a picture of Braden just like the one of Kevin. Braden started walking yesterday, on his 9 month birthday. Its just a few steps at a time but he’s mastering his balance and getting places! Yikes!

That night we stayed home and had friends over for dinner. It was fun being able to see the neighborhood kids all dressed up, enjoying being out in the dark and going from house to house to get candy. And we had fun playing guitar hero and making caramel apples. I am really looking forward to next year when Braden will be a little older and have more fun.

Three weeks ago, my parents flew into town to help us repaint the exterior of our house. Unfortunately about an hour before they landed, it snowed. Yes, snow. Which means that we couldn’t paint outside. We painted instead and various other little projects around the house. My dad flew back to CA on Sunday night and Braden, my mom and I followed him down there on Tuesday.

On Wednesday we ventured down to Long Beach to visit with my cousin Lisa, her husband Kevin and my uncle Bruce. It was a wonderful time with good food and even better company! It’s always good to see them and we are already looking forward to the next time!

Luke and Steph Timmons came to visit on Sunday. We have certainly missed seeing you guys so much. But we are so happy that you love your new jobs and are enjoying your So. Cal. life!Thanks for driving over to see Braden and me.

The rest of our vacation was very laid-back. We shopped, ate, played and most importantly relaxed. Thanks for letting us come and stay with you. And we’ll see you at Christmas!

]]> http://kevinandmorgan.com/2008/11/trip-to-camarillo/feed/ 0 He Crawls and More http://kevinandmorgan.com/2008/10/he-crawls-and-more/ http://kevinandmorgan.com/2008/10/he-crawls-and-more/#comments Sat, 11 Oct 2008 03:43:14 +0000 Kevin http://kevinandmorgan.com/2008/10/he-crawls-and-more/ I know I am a little late in posting this, but for the past 2-3 weeks Braden has been crawling.  He know just flies around the house.  I (Kevin) wanted for so long for him to crawl, but now that he is … I JUST DON’T like it.  He loves to grab electrical cords, go and get dog food out of the dog dish, pull himself up on the coffee table and grab the leaves of the plants (then proceed to fall), crawl to crazy places (stand himself up, not know how to get down and start crying) and for his last trick he climbed up our stairs!  No, not the two stairs at the bottom of the house, but the ENTIRE staircase up to our bedroom … crazy kid … We now have to watch his every move and start baby-proofing the house.  Sigh.  But, with all of that, I still love the kid beyond belief.
