The Turner Family

Kevin and I met in July of 2001 and started dating in August. After 3 years we got married on July 10, 2004. It was been fun ever since. We have owned 2 homes and a dog named Roxy (4, Mutt). February 1, 2008 we had our lives change forever. Our son Braden was born! He has the biggest personality and is a very sweet and happy little guy. It is hard work but what an amazing adventure!

We have been in our current home here in our hometown of Boise since July of 2006 and are always working on projects to help us make it feel like ours. Some days it feels like there is so much to do! We attend church at Faith Community Bible Church, we have a wonderful church family and are so fortunate to have such great Biblical teaching each week. It is great knowing that God has placed these people in our lives and we are so blessed by them. My parents just recently moved to Los Angeles after living in Boise for 20 years. We will miss seeing them so often but look forward to visiting them down there and seeing all that LA has to offer. Disneyland here we come!

Our summers are often spent outdoors. That’s one of the huge perks of living in Idaho, there is so much you can do! Camping is one thing that we love to do as a family. Once the weather is warm enough (meaning, the snow has melted from the mountains) we head for the hills. Since my parents a living near the ocean they left their boat with us so we will be practically living at the lake this summer. Kevin is a little more adventureous and goes on 3-5 day back packing trips with his guy friends. They pack everything they’ll need on their backs and start hiking. Doesn’t sound like much fun to me…maybe that’s why he never asks me to go with them.

Kevin and I both love to watch college football in the fall, well, Kevin loves to watch all sports on tv, but I join in his passion for that one. We are both Boise State Alum (Kevin is Electrical Engineering, Morgan is Athletic Training) so it’s pretty easy to see who our favorite team is. We often host parties at our home so we can all watch the BSU games together. It can get pretty loud sometimes!
