India Photos and a Video
Well, here I am on my last day here in Bangalore, India after a week and a half. It has been quite a trip. I had a great time and met some great people but it was EXTREMELY hard being away from my family and I can’t wait to be home with them again.
I’ll write again soon about my actual trip and about the crazy traffic and driving, but for now I’ll link to some photos I took and a video …
The photoset is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kmturner/sets/72157604143468920/
You can get a small feel for the traffic in this video.
Bathtime fun
Braden took his first bath in the big tub with Mommy on Monday. He didn’t mind being in the water so much but when he was not totally in the water he wasn’t happy. I think he got a little chilly. But I can see lots of water sports in his future, starting with swimming lessons taught by Mommy!

See?! Not very happy! But so cute!

I was only holding his head and neck, the rest of his body floated by itself! SO great to see as a swimming lesson teacher! Hope that stays like that!
FORE!!
Can you tell who his daddy is? My dad whittled Braden his first golf club yesterday. I think it’s a driver, but it’s made of wood, so maybe it a 3 wood? I don’t know. I’ll have to have Kevin tell you. But it’s cute either way! And it’s a left handed club, definitely his daddy’s boy!

We’ll also have to work on his grip a little.

This past week my grandparents came into town to meet their new great-grandson. It is always so great to see them and it was even more special this time. They were so great with Braden and showed him so much love. Thanks for visiting Grandpa and Grandma! Love you!

Well, my baby is now almost 5 weeks old! Can you believe it?! The time has really flown by, so yes, the cliche is correct, time really does fly when you are having fun. Or maybe it’s due to the lack of sleep?! Overall it has been emotional, exhausting, frustrating, overwhelming, fun, and most of all so full of love it’s almost unbelievable. Braden is a happy alert baby that is pretty easy. He is a good sleeper and eater. He has strong lungs which he sometimes likes to show us at very unpleasant hours in the morning. I really enjoying being a mom and Kevin is a super proud daddy.
At his 2 week doctors appointment Braden weighed 8 lbs. 2oz. and was 21.5 inches long. So he’s a healthy, growing boy. We don’t go back in till the beginning of April, so don’t know the current stats but he’s starting to fill out his outfits better and he’s growing into a handsome young man!
I’ll post more often now that I’m getting more sleep and feel like I can function as a human being now! We also will have more pictures on flickr so check them out and leave comments on my super cute little guy!
